AVIAN awarded College of T&E contract

AVIAN LLC was awarded a $5.9M contract to support the Naval Air Systems Command University (NAVAIRU), College of Test and Evaluation (CT&E).

CT&E was founded to meet the training needs of NAVAIR’s test and evaluation community.  As a member of NAVAIRU, CT&E’s mission is to provide comprehensive and standardized training, career development and professional guidance to all members of the NAVAIR test and evaluation workforce, as well as related NAVAIR competencies and command initiatives through the School of Interdisciplinary Studies, partners in Commander Operational Test Forces and industry.

AVIAN has supported CT&E and the College of Interdisciplinary Studies and Leadership (CISL) from their inceptions.

“Since our start with CT&E and CISL, we’ve created more than 20 training courses and the delivery of more than 200 classes across NAVAIR,” said Bill Schaefer, AVIAN’s program manager for workforce development and training.

As the returning provider of Contract Support Services for CT&E, the AVIAN team will continue to provide course development and course instruction to NAVAIR’s workforce.

AVIAN’s team is comprised of Aviation Systems Engineering Company (ASEC); Deloitte; JF Taylor, Inc.; KBRwyle; ManTech International Corporation; RPI Group, Sabre, SAIC, SITE, Tekla Research; and Technology Security Associates, Inc. (TSA).

AVIAN has ten prime contracts in its portfolio of support services for NAVAIR, the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and the Office of Naval Research.
