LEXINGTON PARK, Md. – AVIAN, Inc. was recently part of a winning team, led by PowerTrain, to provide support to NAVAIR University (NAVAIRU) and the NAVAIR Career Development Office.
This is a $17M contract that provides the government with administration and operations; course design and development; course modification and configuration management; course instruction; video production and graphics support; and IT advice.
AVIAN has been deeply involved in NAVAIRU since its founding in 2013.

NAVAIRU’s mission is to empower the workforce toward technical and operational excellence Providing a single interface for competency-driven training and employee development, NAVAIRU offers over 2,500 courses and events to all NAVAIR employees.
NAVAIRU consists of eight functional colleges and one enterprise-aligned interdisciplinary and leadership college, which fosters a multitude of learning opportunities from command initiatives, mandatory training, leadership, and soft-skill courses.
Leveraging cutting-edge learning strategies and technologies to deliver new skills and capabilities, the university seeks learning beyond traditional boundaries, while adapting to evolving command priorities and mission requirements.
Prior to supporting NAVAIRU in 2013, AVIAN supported the standup of what is now known as the College of Test and Evaluation.
