AVIAN performs test planning, execution, analysis, reporting, and correction of deficiencies tracking for Naval aircraft, weapon systems, subsystems, and training devices.
We are experts in Capabilities-Based T&E, System-of-Systems T&E, Design of Experiments, and Live-Virtual-Constructive testing
Our testers develop program Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), test documentation, and briefing materials in support of program requirements and technical reviews; and develop and manage test schedules, budgets, metrics, and test program execution tracking.
AVIAN's UAS Test personnel include Group 1-5 UAS Flight Coordinators, Air Vehicle Operators, Mission Payload Operators, Flight Test Engineers, and Flight Test Technicians.
AVIAN personnel build, modify, and operate systems used in field testing to validate the effectiveness of measures designed to mitigate and reduce unmanned aircraft threats.
Gathering data to evaluate a design or set of designs to ensure the safety of flight is at the core of aeronautical engineering.
At AVIAN, we provide full life-cycle systems engineering, flight test engineering, and system safety engineering, training, and standardization of a variety of commercial systems.
redUAS develops and delivers C-UAS training for U.S.-based first responders through a contract with the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology (NMT) as part of the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium.
NMT works in partnership with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) through a cooperative agreement to provide training geared toward preparing emergency first responders to better prevent and respond to terrorist incidents.
redUAS offers DHS/FEMA-certified in-person and virtual courses designed to provide awareness of the unmanned aircraft threat, the legalities of using both drones and counter-drone technology, and an introductory framework of tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP’s) to assist first responders and emergency management professionals to develop an organized and practiced response to malicious and negligent drones operating within their areas of responsibility.
The 3-day resident course taught at NMT’s Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center includes both classroom instruction and field training exercises with live explosive detonations. Shortened executive and mobile courses are also offered.
"AVIAN provided fully qualified candidates that produce high-quality products to support our department's mission. In an ever-changing environment, the contractor continues to be responsive in supporting the vision of the Command." - Integrated Systems Evaluation, Experimentation and Test (AIR-5.1) CPARS
